1. Plant drought stress

Under drought conditions, the application of humic acid-containing fertilizer can promote the increase of proline content in the leaves of plants, promote the water-holding capacity of cells, and at the same time increase the activity of plant cell protective enzymes (nitrate reductase, superoxide dismutase, and over Oxygenase, etc.) reduce the permeability of the cytoplasmic membrane to comprehensively improve the drought resistance of the crop.

2. Plant temperature stress

Under low temperature stress, humic acid can increase the proline content and abscisic acid content of crops, increase the activity of polyphenol oxidase, and reduce the decrease of transpiration rate, stomatal conductance, and net photosynthetic rate after plants under low temperature stress.

Under high temperature stress, humic acid also has good performance. The activity of superoxide dismutase and peroxidase in crops increased, which reduced the production rate of superoxide anion and hydrogen peroxide, and enhanced the heat resistance of crops.

3. Plant heavy metal stress

Humic acid contains a variety of functional groups, which can be fixed on the surface of soil particles through complexation, chelation and reduction, thereby affecting their migration and reducing the heavy metal water-soluble state, reducing its toxicity.
