The organic matter in soil can significantly improve the physical and chemical properties of soil, make the soil more suitable to cultivate, enhance water holding capacity of soil, an important to withstand drought, and arid condition, which is irreplaceable by chemical fertilizer. The method of increasing soil organic matter mainly is to increase the application of organic fertilizer. Its multi-benefits are as follows:

1, Biological organic fertilizer has a large number of beneficial microorganisms, which can decompose the soil organic matter, and perfect the soil structure. Microorganisms reproduce very quickly in the soil. The dead microbial bacteria left a lot of micro-pipes. And these micro-tubes not only increase the soil permeability, make the soil fluffy and soft, nutrients & moisture are not easy to lose, increased soil storage capacity, but also to avoid the soil compaction. 

2,organic fertilizer in the beneficial microorganisms can also inhibit the breeding of harmful bacteria so that we can use less pesticides. Logically, years of application can effectively inhibit the soil harmful organisms.

3, 95% of the trace elements stored in the soil particles are insoluble, and cannot be absorbed by the plant. However, microbial metabolites contain a large number of organic acids, which help trace elements, like calcium, magnesium, sulfur, copper, zinc, iron, boron, molybdenum and other plants necessary mineral elements be dissolved quickly, and further become the nutrients which can be directly absorbed and utilized by the plant, greatly increases the soil fertility capacity.

4, With the help of soil organic matter, Bacillus subtilis of Biological organic fertilizer and other beneficial microorganisms produce secondary metabolites, which contain large amount of growth-promoting substances. Like auxin, it can promote plant growth, abscisic acid, can enhance fruit ripening; gibberellic acid can promote plants or crops’ blossoms, increase yield and improve their quality.
